Village Harvest thinks the world can always be a better place. We like to think we do our part in making it that way. We’re not just about health, great flavor or community giving—but about the balance of all three.

Village Harvest is committed to good health—that of our consumers, the communities where our grains are sourced and the world as a whole. Our frozen, pourable whole grains take the guesswork out of eating healthfully. Our thought is that if we make whole grains easy, delicious and quick, Americans will eat them more often. We’ve taken away all of the excuses because we know that whole grains are key to changing the country’s health habits.

That said, we think far beyond our borders. Because native soils and climates affect the flavor, scent and texture of rice, Village Harvest travels the world to bring you the most authentic premium rice on the market. Whether it is aromatic basmati grown at the base of the Indian Himalayas, flowery scented jasmine rice from Thailand, or plump pearly Arborio from Italy’s Piedmonte region, each reflects the delicious essence of lands where they originated centuries ago. Simply put, the rice from these regions tastes, feels and smells exactly as it should; and each will elevate your cooking to the next level of authenticity in its own unique way.

We are dedicated to showing our gratitude to the communities that support us through contributions to social development projects and fundraising. Traveling the globe regularly, we see the hardships and struggles that many face everyday and we challenge ourselves to make a difference with hands-on help whenever possible. This means, in addition to sending funds that help build schools, provide clothing and food and protect children, we spend time hammering nails, preparing soups and getting to know the locals and their needs. We hope some of our photographs will inspire you to do the same.
