Recipe: Andrei’s Pilaf

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 12oz Cooked Meat of Choice, cut into small pieces (optional)
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1 Medium Onion, diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Cups Village Harvest Jasmine or Organic Jasmine Rice, precooked and cooled
  • 4 – 6 Tablespoons Soy Sauce

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a wok or skillet on medium/high heat. Add all meat, vegetables and sesame seeds to pan and fry for 5 minutes until glazed. Turn down heat to medium and add rice to mixture. Stir ingredients adding soy sauce gradually for 10 – 15 minutes. If mixture becomes too dry, add 1/4 cup water while stirring. Serve and enjoy!
